The opportunity
A contractor does not need another product pitch. They need someone who understands what happens when estimates sit, crew capacity shifts, margin slips, or cash arrives later than expected. This engagement is about finding those problems, establishing whether RevForge OS is a fit, and helping the right customer make an informed decision.
You will contribute to a founder-stage, full-cycle sales motion: identifying suitable accounts, leading discovery, demonstrating relevant workflows, progressing commercial conversations, and handing over customers with clear expectations. The quality of the customer and the accuracy of the promise matter as much as the signature.
What you will do
- Develop a target-account and contact approach for the agreed contractor segments and territory.
- Run thoughtful prospecting and follow-up through approved channels, respecting contact preferences and consent requirements.
- Lead discovery that connects an operating problem to its business consequence, decision-maker, readiness, and evidence of success.
- Demonstrate the current product around a customer’s actual workflow rather than a generic tour of features.
- Prepare proposals using approved pricing and terms; bring technical, implementation, or commercial exceptions to the appropriate owner.
- Keep opportunity ownership, next steps, forecast evidence, and customer commitments current in the company’s sales records.
- Deliver complete implementation handoffs and turn objections, losses, and customer feedback into useful market learning.
Experience that fits
- Evidence of consultative, full-cycle business-to-business selling and disciplined follow-through.
- The ability to ask direct questions, listen to an owner’s answer, and explain business value without unsupported promises.
- Comfort translating software workflows into practical commercial conversations and clear demonstrations.
- Accurate pipeline management, written communication, and coordination across a small team.
- Sound judgment about customer fit, approved terms, and the difference between a supported capability and a future idea.
Helpful, not essential
- Experience with home-service or home-improvement businesses, contractor owners, or field-service software.
- Experience building a repeatable sales approach in a founder-led company.
- Examples of improving activation quality, retention, or sales-to-implementation handoffs.
What success looks like
- Qualified opportunities have a documented problem, decision process, next step, and realistic path to activation.
- New customers arrive with accurate expectations and a handoff the implementation owner can use.
- Pipeline and market feedback make the next sales decision better, not just the weekly report longer.
