Growth & Product Marketing Consultant

Make the product’s difference clear, earn the right contractor’s attention, and connect market learning to qualified demand.

The opportunity

Contractors are surrounded by software that sounds the same. This engagement is about making RevForge OS understandable through specific operating problems, credible product evidence, and useful market communication, not inflated claims or interchangeable category language.

The agreed project may focus on positioning, a website or launch, content, sales enablement, or a bounded demand experiment. You will turn customer understanding into material people can act on, and connect the result to qualified conversations, conversion, or a clear lesson about the market.

What you will do

  • Audit the agreed website, product messaging, audience assumptions, content, campaigns, or sales materials.
  • Develop a clear message hierarchy around the contractor, their operating problem, the product’s actual response, and supporting evidence.
  • Create approved page copy, product education, campaign briefs, creative, launch material, or sales enablement for the scoped project.
  • Translate demonstrations and customer insight into concrete stories without inventing customers, outcomes, integrations, or product capabilities.
  • Define the audience, destination, measurement, follow-up, approved budget, and stopping criteria for each demand experiment.
  • Report what moved from source to qualified opportunity, and separate observed outcomes from assumptions.
  • Document the winning messages, unresolved questions, and reusable assets for the next owner.

Experience that fits

  • Strong positioning, writing, and product-marketing judgment supported by examples of real work.
  • The ability to learn a complex product and explain it through a customer’s day rather than generic feature language.
  • Experience designing measurable campaigns, launches, or conversion improvements.
  • Comfort evaluating attribution, lead quality, and the limits of what the data proves.
  • Disciplined use of approved brand assets, product claims, customer permissions, and publishing controls.

Helpful, not essential

  • Experience marketing to contractor owners or other operationally focused small businesses.
  • Work on founder-led marketing, software launches, or sales enablement.
  • A portfolio combining strong copy or creative with clear commercial learning.

What success looks like

  • A suitable contractor can explain what RevForge OS does differently and why it matters to their business.
  • The delivered assets are accurate, usable, and connected to an explicit customer next step.
  • Campaign reporting shows qualified demand or a useful learning outcome, not activity without context.
